The Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz plot follows Kansa farm girl Dorothy Gale, who is swept away by a tornado to the magical Land of Oz with her dog Toto, where her house accidently kills the Witch of the East, giving her powerful ruby slippers. To get home, she follows the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City to ask the great Wizard Oz for help, meeting a Scarecrow (needs a brain), Tin Man (needs a heart), and Cowardly Lion (needs courage) who join her quest and seek their own wishes from the Wizard. The Wizard demands they defeat the Wicked Witch of the West first, but upon succeeding, they discover the Wizard is a fraud, and Glinda the Good Witch reveals Dorothy had the power to go home all along by clicking her heels in the slippers.
